Join us on Wednesday, July 25th for L.I.T Yoga from 7pm-9pm at the Community Education Center. Presented by Instructor Jamilah MyAnn, owner of Loving Soul Yoga, this is a fun two-hour glow-in-the-dark yoga class set to trap music instrumentals is led by the rhythmic sounds of a guided moving meditation. Participants get adorned in luminous tribal face paint under the black lights. Enjoy sweating, letting go, and getting lit through continuous movement and literally glowing in the dark. Participants leave feeling refreshed, each with a takeaway sheet of L.I.T. Affirmations that supports them while striving to stay Living Inspiring Transformation.
On July 29, 2017, we held our inaugural Community Health Festival and unveiled our Medical Care Unit – a new mobile screening unit and intake office. The mobile care unit educates the community, provides services such as blood pressure screenings, blood sugar testing, Primary Care health services, mental health counseling and other health related services.
From Monday, July 23, 2018 until Friday, July 27, 2018, the Pennsylvania Care Associates will hold their annual BeWhole Healthy Living Tour throughout Philadelphia. We will make learning and being healthy fun by having 5 different healthy events which will consists of a Senior Day, Zumba, LIT Yoga, Sala/Line Dancing Night, and a Healthy Cooking Demostration.
